Quiet. Beautiful. The owner has improved the campground so much its perfect. Still retains the being in the woods feel. Sites are level and clean. Playground and large fields perfect for frisbee, horseshoes and other games. Small pavilion for get togethers. Restrooms and showers are always clean and very nicely decortated. Dump station. Great water and electric hookups. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our Internet connection worked as well as our phone signals. There is a hiking trail nearby. Boat launch and nearby boat launch. Tennis courts nearby on the right just before the dam. Golf carts are welcome. Not far from a town where you can restock supplies. Excellent restaurant open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Fishing is great and campground is not far from the mouth of the river.
So beautiful out on the river.
Kayaking and canoeing are awesome. Lots to explore. Kayaking out to the main river is easy.
Safe and friendly atmosphere. Quiet at night.
